I can highly recommend Betsy Edwards with Betsy Edwards Design out of Hendersonville. I am working with her currently on my new home.  I have worked with many designers and Betsy is only in our area for a few years due to some family commitments, but has worked all over the world and been based in Santa Barbara and Atlanta.  She has done New York apartments, worked in Nice, France- her resume is very impressive.  She has the creativity and vision, but what she also has is incredible professional organizational skills and outstanding follow-up and communication skills.  That second piece is what I sometimes have found lacking in designers I have worked with.

We bought a house and moved to Laurel Park, NC in 2019.  Our new house had not been updated for 25 years and was in desperate need of a remodel.  We had a general idea and direction for our design; however we needed an independent design perspective, technical advice and experience for our project.
